Miami-Dade County Delegation to Conduct Business Development Mission in East Africa

The Miami-Dade delegation with
participants from sectors, such as equipment, parts , services,
seaport/airport, construction, tourism and trade, is led by Miguel Southwell
representing Miami International Airport. Goals include increasing two-way trade and
supporting air route development between Miami-Dade, known as the "Gateway to
the Americas," and these countries, which are also known as the "East African
Gateway. The delegation will also meet with the Ministry of Tourism to
explore the possibility of opening a Kenyan Trade and Tourism office in Miami.
