About Pepsi Americas' Sail 2006
Pepsi Americas' Sail, a maritime festival showcasing tall ships from
around the world, will be held June 30 - July 5 in Beaufort and Morehead City,
NC. Each feature is 24 minutes.

Juried Art Show Adds Creative Element to Maritime Celebration

BEAUFORT, N. A select panel of judges will
chose more than 60 artists to participate in the Artists' Market. Special events include a Parade of Sail, a 15-
mile regatta along the shores of Atlantic Beach and a spectacular Fourth of
July parade, concert and fireworks celebration. Maritime Museum interprets the state's maritime history and
celebrates the natural beauty, precious resources and rich cultural heritage
of coastal North Carolina.

summer, is currently recruiting artists to participate in the events' juried
Artists' Market. Using the quaint Beaufort waterfront as its backdrop, the
Artists' Market will be open to the public July 1-July 4, from 10 a.m.m. Department of Cultural
Resources.
"This addition to the museum is a great attraction for the many school
children who visit and it can serve to inspire an interest in science in young
