Peninsula Community Foundation today
announced the release of its results from the 2005 Grantee Perception
Report (GPR) compiled by the Center for Effective Philanthropy, a national
nonprofit organization based in Cambridge, Massachusetts." The
Center surveyed more than 22,000 grantees of 117 foundations nationwide in
2003 and 2004, including 113 grantees of PCF for the report. Through their grants, we have been able provide the
highest quality healthcare services to over 11,000 patients over the past 3

HHS Announces $63 Million to Help 105 Communities Extend Health Care Services to More Low-Income Uninsured Americans

WASHINGTON, HHS Secretary Mike Leavitt today
announced plans to award 105 new health center grants totaling more than $63
million. Launched in 2002, the initiative will add 1,200
new and expanded health center sites and increase the number of people served
annually from about 10 million to 16 million by 2006.
