ATLANTA, The Georgia Trust for Historic
Preservation today announced its support for Governor Sonny Perdue's proposed
legislation to create a new public -private foundation that would consolidate
and maximize the state's tourism marketing efforts.
"It is essential that Georgia seek ways to leverage its resources to the
maximum extent possible as well as work to build programs that will meet the
traveling public's needs for enriching, integrated travel-related
experiences," he said.
The Georgia Trust is a recipient of the Trustees Award for Organizational
Excellence from the National Trust for Historic Preservation. (Nasdaq: MSBK) declared a regular quarterly dividend
of 15.

historic sites that have expressed an interest in developing marketing plans
that would assist them in promoting both their individual venues and local
