Six Virginia Indian Tribes Will Host Congressman Bobby Scott (D-3rd) at a Sovereignty Pow Wow (April 30 May 1 Charles City Virginia)

For the first time since the
first Christian mission at Jamestown, representatives from the Virginia
Council of Churches will participate in the ceremonial Grand Entry at noon,
Saturday , April 30. "England long ago
acknowledged the sovereignty of the Virginia Tribal Nations, and we have
maintained that sovereign relationship to the modern day. The sword will be on display
April 2 - 6 in Vanderbilt Hall.
