The process we started
today is just the beginning. One of the
suggested solutions was the importance of acknowledging racial
differences. A portion of the proceeds will
be deposited into a fund to help support the Museum's education programs,
research, exhibitions, and preservation of the landmark 1850 Weighlock
Building, the only structure of its kind in America. A
personalized version of the plate with motorist's choice of two to six
characters, including spaces, is available for $68 with an annual renewal fee
of $50.
