Vail Meadows offers many valuable therapeutic programs, including
Therapeutic Riding Classes (one hour weekly lessons in 10-week
sessions), Summer Camp (week-long day camps for children and young
adults interested in learning about horses), Field Trips (a year-round
program that opens Vail Meadows to the community as an educational
site) and an Adult Special Needs Day Program (a year-round program

The educational curriculum developed by Carmen Jones, the
conference director for the event, focuses on relevant topics
addressing life today for individuals with disabilities, their family
and caregivers. The event will take place Friday, June 3,
and Saturday, June 4, 2005 from 10am to 5pm and Sunday, June 5, 2005
from 11am to 5pm at The Anaheim Convention Center.
"Our company , Vail Products, was founded on the mission to help
improve the lives of persons with disabilities , as well as their
families and caregivers," notes Joy Vail, chief executive officer of
Vail Products . "That same mission was the cornerstone of our efforts
to give back to the disabilities community when we established and
helped fund Vail Meadows.

Local and regionally based organizations that work with people
with disabilities will also be participating including Accessible San
Diego, California Department of Rehabilitation, Team Advocates for
Special Kids, and The Dayle McIntosh Center. For the
adaptive sports enthusiast, Xtreme Medical will be doing daily
demonstrations of wheelchair , hockey, rugby, and football, in the
Special Events area located on the show floor.
