SAN DIEGO, This year, more than 200,000 women and
men will be diagnosed with breast cancer and more than 40,000 will lose their
lives to the disease. In California alone, approximately 21,170 women will be
diagnosed with breast cancer this year.

The golf tournament
salutes the memory of Debbie Olivier, who gave many years of volunteer service
to the surrounding community. Debbie passed away from breast cancer in 1999.

"I'm walking in honor of the many woman I've come in contact with who have
been touched by breast cancer -- those who have survived and those who have
lost the fight," said Stephanie Bair, 2005 San Diego 3-Day participant .

The more training, the more fun and successful

discomfort or injuries on the event. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation to
fund breast cancer research, education, screening and treatment programs and

includes golf balls, a cart, lunch and an awards dinner at which prizes will
be awarded.
