cyclist who wants to try the mountain passes and experience the

SANTA MONICA, Calif.
Set against the dramatic backdrop of the San Juan Mountain Range along the
Continental Divide , the epic race features 8 miles of rigorous mountain trail
running; a 13,300-foot high paragliding launch; 27 miles of raging white water
kayaking including Class IV rapids; and 27 painstaking miles of steep vertical
mountain biking trails that ascend 7,000 feet. A maximum of 50, four-person teams will
be selected to compete.
Highlight: Starts with 3,000+ foot climb in four miles

Note: The proposed courses are subject to final approval by the United
States Forest Service (USFS), Bureau of Land Management (BLM), and weather
conditions at the time of competition .

Guests will meet up with the
race on three of the middle stages (10, 11 and 12) in the mountainous
southeast, and get a chance to both watch and ride the route. We start
in the Haute Savoie region for the first two days before a shuttle
