winner of the May performance will be named the first National Champion of
High School A Cappella. will open with a performance by powerful
professional a cappella headliners, Blue Jupiter. Many pros will be coming in right after the
conclusion of the tour's first major of the season, the Kraft-Nabisco
Championship. Weekly classes are
taught by LPGA and PGA teaching professionals . "Bonnaroo will still be the ultimate
highlight of the summer concert season," says Superfly's Rich Goodstone. Each stop on the tour will be its own unique
entertainment event.

The Zooma Tour will kick off on
June 16 and stop at amphitheaters in at least 28 major North American markets,
concluding on July 31. A confirmed list of dates and performers will follow in

National Championship of High School A Cappella Takes Stage in Washington

The event will include vocal performances by five high school
groups that earned invitations by winning regional contests in April.
"In opening the doors for these student groups to compete , we've created a
stage where high school a cappella ensembles can strive for excellence and
interact with each other on a national scale, thereby adding to the
development and expansion of contemporary a cappella at the high school level

WASHINGTON, The National Championship of High School
A Cappella will be held May 8 at George Washington University's Lisner
Auditorium. The
contemporary version of the art form, developed over the last century, has
seen an evolution that now includes more modern genres from doo-wop to jazz to
rock, R+B, and other popular styles. NCHSA joins national-scale events for professional and collegiate
