In 1954, at the age of 39, Don joined Westinghouse as vice president of
manufacturing, and eight years later headed a group of divisions developing
systems to improve industrial production. Twelve
years later at the age of 60, he became a director/officer of Westinghouse,
following a program he designed.
In recent years, he and his late wife lived at
Friendship Village in Pittsburgh's South Hills.
