The Science Fiction Museum and Hall of Fame (SFM), the world's
first science fiction museum, has announced the date for its first
Hall of Fame Induction ceremony: Friday, May 6, 2005, at EMP's Sky
Church.
"We are excited to host our first induction ceremony at SFM and
honor the legends that have shaped the field of science fiction," said
Bob Santelli, director of SFM programs and chair of the Hall of Fame
executive committee.
As part of the induction, a new mini-exhibit featuring personal
artifacts and video footage from each inductee will be added to the
existing Hall of Fame exhibit.
The evening includes a seated ceremony, dinner and after-party.
SFM attracts participation from the highest echelon of science
fiction practitioners -- writers, illustrators, publishers, and
filmmakers.
