themselves and their concepts to a national audience!
ARTV AWARDS nominees will be present at the New York press party on Friday
evening, March 4th 2005. Other nominees
flying in include Shannon Grissom, a painter from Hollister, CA; Leslie
Rankin , a glass artist from Las Vegas; Jenik, a watercolorist from Los
Angeles; Thad Morgan, an acrylics artist from Louisiana; Gimbolo, a painter
from Ann Arbor, Michigan, and new-movement artist Tatiyana Kraeskaya, from
Newport Beach, California. The show will be filmed in HDTV for national televised
distribution.

In "Landscape Models for Total Reflective Abstraction," McElheny drew
inspiration from an ongoing dialogue between Buckminster Fuller and Isamu
Noguchi in the late 1920s. They
wondered if it was possible to make a completely reflective surface on an
object and if, by doing so, that object would become invisible by virtue of
its total reflectivity.

Pinkham received the $10 ,000 Grand Prize at the Arizona-Sonora Desert
Museum's Plein Air 2005 in Tucson for his landscape painting Light of Day.americanlegacyfinearts. Open by private appointment, ALFA is located in a tranquil
neighborhood of Pasadena, Calif. Some have said they are humorously fanciful, even
romantic.

Fuller, an inventor, engineer, architect, designer
and philosopher met the sculptor Isamu Noguchi in the late 1920s and together
they embarked upon a discourse about reflection and invisibility.

Josiah is a serious master of the invisible,
the unseen, and we are very proud and fortunate to be able to bring this
exhibit to Tulsa. Produced in industrial mirror, hand blown "mirrored" glass and
other reflective materials, the design of the two "Landscape Models for Total
Reflective Abstraction" on exhibit at the Philbrook are loosely based on Isamu
Noguchi's influential table designs of the 1940s."

Blown and Etched Glass McElheny Landscape Exhibit Opens March 20; Tulsa's Philbrook Museum of Art to Host MOMA-Exhibited Artist

Both artists are represented by American Legacy Fine Arts (ALFA), an art
gallery in Pasadena, Calif. "They suggest everything from modern Italian glass design to
medieval reliquaries. The ceremony will be a 'Grammy ' styled event with celebrities,
artists, multi-media presentations, and an active show with live entertainment
and musical support.

director, Robert Edison, presented Pinkham with his award at a ceremony on
Saturday, March 5, the evening before the three-week exhibition opened to
the public. Javits Convention
Center from March 3rd - 5th, 2005.
Nominees present will include New York painter Richard Stolurow with a
selection of his paintings, along with Dallas sculptor Mary Ann
Thompson-Frenk, and painter, Sergey Cerep from Acworth, GA.

Pinkham and George Carlson received top honors at recent museum exhibitions
that explored distinctive images of life in the American West, both past
and present. His monumental
bronze sculpture of a Percheron horse's head, The Conqueror, received the
exhibition's highest honor, the Masters of the American West Award, and was
purchased for the museum's permanent collection . The exhibit opens March 20 and
McElheny is the second artist in a new Philbrook contemporary series , Focus.

Carlson, recognized as one of the country's premier sculptors, received two
awards at the eighth annual Masters of the American West Fine Art
Exhibition and Sale, held at the Autry National Center's Museum of the
American West in Los Angeles from February 5 to March 6. This fundamental invisibility was
that of utterly still waters whose presence can be apprehended only when
